Kristy Thomas is 25, living in Stoneybrook and serving the community that shaped her, while her best friends are out in the world following their dreams…and drifting away. As Kristy tries to bring the group back together, the story moves between the present and the middle-school years that started it all, revealing how these four girls became inseparable in the first place. And leaving them all with questions about what their friendship looks like next.
Maybe another chapter closes but the story’s never over.

I co-wrote seven songs for the film including “Golden,” “What It Sounds Like,” “Your Idol,” “How It’s Done,” “Free,” “Hunter’s Mantra,” and “Jinu’s Lament.” Proud to be part of the most watched movie on Netflix and the only soundtrack in history to land four songs in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100. Ben Platt starred in my musical Midnight at The Never Get this past summer, selling out its entire London run.
